*Cat E Futures Stock. Click on link to be taken to Rockets market*

The Houston Rockets, who are currently 7-4 and 3rd in the Western Conference, suffered a -19% dip today and it can be attributed to news of another (yes, another) T-Mac injury. This time it's not his back, but his knee. Let's monitor this to see how much it affects the Houston market.

Brett Favre bearhugs his GM Mike Tannebaum.

Brett Favre thanks the man who brought him to New York, (2:51 seconds) Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum. I was hating on them all year, but I have to give it to Favre, he is producing and a division title looks more and more likely.

A Non-ESPN Lester Munson breakdown of the Mark Cuban insider trading case.

A lot of blog readers and Cuban enthusiasts across the net are complaining that all the major sports sites like ESPN and Fox aren't giving Cuban the benefit of the doubt. Here is a website explaining it all:

Cuban charged with insider trading.

The Government not acknowledging Barry Bonds HR record?

Kudos to the thebiglead.com on this story.

At a ceremony naming Ken Griffey Jr to a public diplomacy role, a tipster said that a U.S. government diplomacy official said about Griffey:

"He is fifth on the all-time home run list, along side such greats as Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth and Willie Mays."

Maybe the guy accidentally forgot about Bonds, but I doubt considering Bonds name still rings today. I mean, give me a break. No one has convicted the man of anything despite the suspicions, so show some respect for once. Bonds is the HR king period.

Los Angeles wants to take the Lions away from Detroit...

Well, some LA politicians want to, but for what? No one in LA cares about sports. Only when the Lakers are in the playoffs. Besides that, they just snooze, talk on their cell phones, or do their nails at the sporting events. So LA does not deserve a team more than Detroit.

But there is one group that wants the Lions in LA and they just opened a website called latakethelions.com

Here is their rationale:

"If you were born in Michigan, then you probably are cursed with being a Lions fan. One playoff win since 1957! As hard as you may try not to care, they still suck you in. So it's time to show the ownership what you think they should do to improve the team: Move!

"At least then we could get an expansion team with new ownership and a new opportunity for fans that deserve better."

Charles Barkley's run for Governor of Alabama is over.

If Charles Barkley expects to run for Governor in 2014, videos like this one aren't helping his cause with the usually open-minded folks of Alabama. Bodog related events don't make a lot of sense for a guy who claims he's done with gambling.
